MY name is Daniel Friedman-Posner, and I'm originally from Evergreen, CO, USA. I started my life in music and audio at six years old when I was given a guitar by my parents and forced to take lessons and practice for an hour per day. I'll admit that as a kid, I really didn't enjoy it, but around the time I entered high school something about it clicked, or maybe it was just many years of consistent guitar lessons starting to pay off and make playing enjoyable. I started binging guitar and bass tabs, picked up drums, and eventually began writing my own riffs and music. Around 18, this stopped being enough for me, and I found myself drawn more and more to music that "sounded" good, or even "better than real life" as I described it at the time. I knew I wanted to record music, but there was no way in hell I was going to pay a fortune to make it all happen. Instead, I bought a copy of studio one and it all spiraled out of control from there. Fast forward to now, I have a B.A. in Media Production with a certification in Audio Production granted by the University of Colorado Boulder and achieved a masters in audio production from the University of Westminster in London training under industry greats like Kevin Paul and Simon Gogerly. Now I work as a freelance Mixing and mastering engineer based out of london while pursuing A passion for my own musical compositions on the side as well. I'm always happy to work on a production for you, or even collaborate on a song! Feel free to reach out about anything audio related!
